What’s included

Everything except the truck.

Rental truck loading Heavy pieces go in first, boxes fill the gaps, and the load is strapped so it does not shift on the road.
Container & trailer loading Portable containers and trailers packed floor to ceiling, so you use every bit of the space you paid for.
Unloading We empty your truck or container and carry everything to the room it belongs in.
In-home moves Furniture moved between rooms or floors, for a renovation, new flooring or a new layout.
Rearranging Not sure where the couch should go? The crew will move it until it looks right.
Wrapping on site Furniture is pad-wrapped and shrink-wrapped before it goes into your truck or container.

Pricing

What sets the price of a labour-only job.

Labour-only jobs are billed hourly, from when the crew arrives to when the work is done. These make the biggest difference:

How much there is The number of rooms or boxes sets the crew size and the time needed.
Carry distance A long walk from the door to the truck or container adds time. There’s no fee for stairs or elevators.
Heavy or awkward pieces Large wardrobes, sectionals and appliances take more care and more hands.
How ready you are Packed, sealed and labelled boxes load much faster than loose items.

Do you drive the rental truck?

No. With labour-only service, you rent and drive the truck. Our crew handles the loading and unloading. If you’d rather we bring the truck, book a regular move instead.

Can you load a portable storage container?

Yes. We load and unload portable containers and trailers, and pack them tightly so items do not shift in transit.

Can you just move furniture inside my house?

Yes. We move furniture between rooms and floors for renovations, new flooring or a new layout. Stairs are never an extra charge.

Do you bring any equipment?

Yes. The crew brings moving pads, dollies and shrink wrap, and they are included in the hourly rate.
