What documents will I need?

It depends on where you’re going. Expect a passport, proof of your immigration or residency status, and an itemized inventory. Your coordinator gives you a checklist for your destination.

Will I pay duty on my belongings?

Many countries let new or returning residents bring used household goods without duty, under certain conditions. The rules vary, so your coordinator will explain what applies to you.

How long does an international move take?

Moves to the United States by road usually take days. Overseas moves can take several weeks, depending on the route. You get an estimated schedule with your quote.

Is there anything I can’t ship?

Hazardous materials, perishable food, plants and some other items are restricted. The list depends on the country, and your coordinator will go through it with you.
